"Live as children of light...
...have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness,
but rather expose them!".

Ephesians 5:8,11 [NIV]

Don't just believe it,
LIVE LIKE IT!

This really encouraged me when I saw it. It can be difficult to be the only person standing for God in your situation, School, work place or family.   I sometimes feel my little just isn't enough or I can't do this on my own but praise God He knows this and He doesn't ask us to do it alone.  All He wants is for us to give our best and He will do the rest. One light in this picture would have no effect on lighting our city but with them all together I think it is pretty impressive and if we all do our bit and stand together then we can shine God's light throughout our city.

The most important commandment - Matthew 22:34-40.
"You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind."...
..."Love your neighbour as yourself.
The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based
on these two commandments."
Matthew 22:37,39-40.  [NLT]

Here Jesus summarises what our lives are to be about.  We are to love God with all that we are! with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and Love our neighbour as ourselves!  What a way to live!!!  The world would say live for yourself! Look after number one! But Jesus says real life! Eternal life is found by living the way of love.
Some of you may remember a game show called Supermarket Sweep where people had a time limit to fill their trolley  and the value of items thrown into the trolley determined the winning team. I remember the frantic way the teams ran around the supermarket seeing how much they could get in, in the time allowed...
What if we lived that way ?  Seeing how much loving God and loving our neighbour we can fit in, in the lifetime we have?

As a result of the prayers of Dorothea Clapp, an American housewife in the 1950's, a young student named George Verwer gave his life to the Lord and later became the founder of Operation Mobilisation. OM ships have visited over 450 different ports in more than 150 countries (and welcomed millions of visitors on board) seeking to demonstrate and proclaim the love of God. The Logos Hope is currently in dry dock in Singapore for a major overhaul.
One of the most Life changing ministries OM is involved in is amongst India's Dalit community. Considered by others to be worthless, the Dalits have suffered discrimination and oppression for centuries. Today OM is at the forefront of a move to bring freedom and dignity to these people through education. In response to a cry for help, OM has established 110 schools around India.
In our world today, true hope is only possible by a personal relationship with God through Jesus. In every port, volunteer crew members share this message of hope with those they meet.

PLEASE PRAY FOR  :-
1.  The upcoming Fuel
Appeal which will be crucial
in 'Fueling the Hope' when the ship re-enters the water next year.
2. Supernatural interventions in the lives of Muslims. Many come to Jesus after seeing Him in a dream or vision.
3. The Lord to send more workers into His harvest field.
4. Much of the population of Europe is indifferent to religion. Call out for a movement of the Holy Spirit and radiant Christians to demonstrate God's loving care..
