he has risen, just as he said...
...He has risen from the
dead
and is
going ahead of you...

Matt 28:6-7 [NIV]

Don't just
believe it,
LIVE LIKE IT!

Jesus' resurrection changes everything!  Anyone who can keep a promise to rise from the dead has got to be worth further investigation.

When we put this fact together with all that Jesus said, did and promised!
We recognise that we haven't experienced the half!  Coming back to the Lifewell Vision from John 4, when the woman met Jesus a conversation and relationship started that changed her life, her present and her future.  In Matthew 28:7 we read how Jesus had risen and gone ahead of the disciples.  Jesus walks ahead of us that we may follow and know Life in his name!
How is your relationship and conversation going with God?
Walk with him in and through it and He will change and continue to change your life, your present and your future!!!

Jesus authority challenged - Matthew 21:23-27.

**I*ll tell you by what authority I do these things if you answer one question,* Jesus replied.**Did John*s authority to baptise come from heaven, or was it merely human?*
Matthew 21:24-25.  [NLT]

This passage may be one that we read quickly and pass on to the next but there's a lot to be challenged with through it.   Everyone who comes into contact with Jesus, has to make a decision about who he is.  The priests and elders couldn't ignore him but if they recognised him for who he is, they would have to change.  Our world would try to ignore Jesus but anyone who hears something of Jesus' character, message and life cannot.   Remember Jesus has recently cleared the temple of money changers and here he is challenged regarding his authority to do what he does. Jesus answers the question with a question.  He knows where they are and turns the tables on them as he asks them where John the baptists authority came from.  This answer suggests and confirms that Jesus and John's authority came from God.  But notice the response! They weren't willing to answer the question. Their response was to think "if we say  it was from heaven, he will ask us why we didn*t believe John.*But if we say it was merely human, we*ll be mobbed because the people believe John was a prophet.**So they finally replied, *We don*t know.*  Jesus therefore refused to tell them by what authority he did the things he did.  They were not willing to commit themselves and were just trying to get Jesus to say things that they could use against him.  As we get to know Jesus, we are challenged to fully recognise who He is and be willing to stand up and be counted for our beliefs.  Throughout our lives we need to stand in Him and for Him in order to see Him step into our lives and situations and make good His promises!

Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) is an organisation working for religious freedom through advocacy and human rights in the pursuit of justice. Based in London, Brussels and Washington, a team works with the UK government and the US Congress to make sure their concerns on religious freedom reach those in a position to make a difference all around the world. We thank God for Baroness Warsi at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office as she continues to highlight the importance of religious freedom and also for the recent appointment of Heiner Bielefeldt UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion internationally.
