Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess,
for he who promised is faithful.
let us consider how we may spur one another
on toward love and good deeds,
not giving up meeting together,
as some are in the habit of doing,
but encouraging one another
and all the more
as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:23-25 [NIV]

Don't just
believe it,
LIVE LIKE IT!

Church as God intends is Awesome!!! In Acts we see it... the love, generosity and friendship! But it doesn't shy away from telling of the challenges too!
We often desire the exciting events and miracles and want to be in on the recieving end of love and generosity!
We may even enjoy from time to time, taking the opportunity to show love and generosity!
I praise God for the amount of times that people comment on the love and the welcome at Lifewell Church.  Be encouraged! God is making his love known among us!
As we seek to commit our lives to God and his ways, who knows what God has in store for us!
Keep Loving! Keep Living!
Keep Growing! That His love may flow through you and me and us collectively!!!

Jesus' parable of the great feast - Matthew 22:1-14.
*The Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a king who prepared a great wedding feast for his son. *When the banquet was ready, he sent his servants to notify those who were invited. But they all refused to come!
Matthew 22:2-3.  [NLT]

The discussions continue with the Pharisees. Jesus responds with a parable about the Kingdom of God being like a king's feast for his Son.  Many get invited and the respondents appear to separate into 3 categories. Those that reject the invite.  Those that accept the invite and the one who appears to accept the invite and wants to enjoy the feast but doesn't dress right.  Now we all know God looks at the heart and not the outward appearance.  So what's going on in this parable?  Tradition suggests that wedding garments would have been provided and it would seem he chose not to wear it.  Of course God provided clothing for Adam and Eve to cover their shame and Spiritually God does the same. He invites us into his kingdom providing us with robes of righteousness  but we can't enjoy the feast until we first accept the invite and put on the new life that God provides for us.  Let's not miss out on the Kingdom that God invites us to be a part of! Accept his call and enjoy living out the righteous life he's called us to!

The ministry of Open Doors began in 1955 when Brother
Andrew became God*s Smuggler, taking suitcase after suitcase
of Bibles to the persecuted church, facing great danger, but determined to bring encouragement and hope. Right now millions of Christians are at risk of persecution around the world. Open Doors is active in over 50 countries, supplying Bibles, leadership training, Scripture-based literacy programmes and support for Christians suffering for their faith.
In the last 18 months Nigeria has risen to become the country where Christians face the worst violence. Between November 2012 and March 2014 more than 2000 Christians were killed and more than 1500 churches attacked or destroyed.
Open Doors has just released a list of 10 countries where Christians experience most violent incidents and these are:
1 Nigeria 2 Syria 3 Egypt 4 Central African Republic 5 Mexico 6 Pakistan 7 Colombia 8 India 9 Kenya 10 Iraq
Please pray for our brothers and sisters who are suffering.

PLEASE PRAY FOR  :-
1. For the safe return of
more than 200 girls
kidnapped from Chibok, Nigeria.
2. That the Holy Spirit will encourage Christians who have chosen to stay and build up the church in Northern Nigeria.
3. For wisdom and protection for Open Doors workers.
4. That God will give Meriam, a Sudanese Christian, physical and spiritual strength and that the charges against her will be dropped.

WORKDAYS
The summer is upon us and something we try to do every year is to get some jobs done around the church and take the opportunity to enjoy some fellowship while doing it.
If you have a few hours to spare and are able to join us for some, part or all of the  work days, it would be great for us as a church and I'm sure you'll enjoy too!!!
We have some painting planned, some clearing of the basement and the grounds behind the church and a general tidy up of the side rooms.  It will be great to see you!
