whoever drinks the water I give him
will
never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him
a
spring of water welling up to eternal life.
John 4:14
[NIV]
A woman meets Jesus at a
well and has her life transformed.
Which results in her
stepping into a new relationship with God and the people of her
town.
Jesus answers some of her
tough questions and she then goes back to her town transformed and shares
Jesus.
We have Transformation,
Relationship, Discipleship & Action.

Welling up &
Overflowing in our lives and into the lives of those around us, into our town,
city and to the utmost parts of the earth.
Barry started his life
living in Salford in a good home with two loving parents. He grew up with an
interest in bikes and mechanics and was happy when he began as an apprentice
doing what he loved. However, he started going to clubs under age with those he
was going around with. When he got his second job he started going to a pub
called The Union with his mates and all changed. He started taking drugs at
weekends and then more regularly and eventually he was dealing drugs. This led
to a life of drugs and many relationships with different women. This started his
journey of being arrested and being in and out of prison. Due to so many drugs
Barry started hearing voices. After spending years of being in and out of
prisons Barry lived in hostels for a while .He was asked to leave for fighting
and moved to a different area. While out one day Barry met a guy who said he had
been to church and asked Barry to go sometime to which Barry replied,* no
thanks* but Barry later asked a lady a few doors down if she know where the
church was and she said that she attends the church and would take him. He went
along and met the guy from the bus again. During this meeting Barry went forward
for prayer and after going home Barry closed his door and realised he couldn't
hear the voices he had been hearing for 9 years and within 4 weeks of that
church meeting Barry was off heroin ( how great is our God !!) In his book Barry
tells his life in great detail. He tells of how low his life was and of how God
healed him. He then tells of his journey of knowing our God. It is a great read
of how God changes lives. I have his book and dvd if anyone wants to borrow them
.

As a result of the prayers
of Dorothea Clapp, an American housewife in the 1950*s, a young student named
George Verwer gave his life to the Lord and later became the founder of
Operation Mobilisation. The baton of leadership has been passed to others during
the following years and on September 1st 2013 Lawrence and Susan Tong became the
new international leaders of OM.
OM ships have visited over
450 different ports in more than 150 countries (and welcomed millions of
visitors on board) seeking to demonstrate and proclaim the love of God. Earlier
this year Logos Hope made its first visit to Cambodia and Thailand creating
amazing opportunities to share the Gospel with thousands of people both on and
off the ship.
REMEMBERING & PRAYING FOR OUR BROTHERS & SISTERS AROUND OUR
WORLD
PLEASE PRAY
:-
1. That gifts to OM Ships
fuel
appeal will be sufficient
for
Logos Hope’s busy
schedule.
2. That God will bless and
anoint the new recruits who arrived in September.
3. That more churches
around the world will commit workers and resources to ministry amongst unreached
peoples.
4. Each month more than
1000 *Jesus Film* workers show the film. More than 200,000,000 people have come
to Christ through this film since 1979.
Give thanks and pray for
even more fruitful showings.
If you would like to give
to Missions just place your Missions gift in an envelope marked Missions and
drop it in collection any time along with your Tithes and
Offerings.
Each month, you can read a
little more about Christian Mission organisations and what they do!
